Immigration in the USA

Immigration to the United States of America is a dream come true for people living in developing countries. The major contribution of immigrants is from Asia as most of the countries here are developing countries and people move to the US in search of good feature and prosperity. Because of increase in immigrants, restrictions are also increased in recent years with concern over safety and economy of the country. New immigration laws are been introduced in past fifteen years to prevent the illegal immigration over the US-Mexican border. Still with lots of restrictions in immigration laws, the Census Bureau estimates that the Asian population will increase to more than thrice by 2050.

In United States immigration has became a most debate topic among the public, about two major issues national identity and economy. Most of the US nationals think that because of immigrants, jobs are taken away from them and cause security concerns mainly after 9/11 incident. Also some US citizens deem that immigrant’s help in making their economy stable and consider them responsible for their civilization growth.
Hence it has become a tough task for US immigration officials to provide a stable immigration laws and as a result continuous changes of policies on immigration will continue in near feature.
